About The Position

This role involves performing essential mining duties such as heading prep, blasting, and mucking. The Sublevel Miner will be responsible for determining the amount, placement, and firing of explosives, as well as operating underground equipment like loaders and trucks. The position is located at the East Boulder Mine in McLeod, MT, with a rotating work schedule of 5x4x4x5. Requirements

• Must meet and maintain qualifications for working with explosives per the Safe Explosives Act.
• Working knowledge of utilities, services, and ventilation.
• Must meet the minimum Task Matrix Proficiency Levels for a Sublevel Miner 2. (See Task Matrix in HR Office)

• Mine Equipment and materials terminology and uses.
• Working knowledge of small hand tools.
