About The Position

A government contract requires that this position be restricted to U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents. You must provide documentation that you are a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident to qualify. This position requires an active Secret clearance. Cherokee Federal is pursuing an opportunity to support the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Consular Affairs, Passport Services Directorate (CA/PPT). CA/PPT oversees passport issuance nationwide, serving U.S. citizens traveling internationally and protecting the integrity of the U.S. passport as proof of citizenship.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 specific years’ experience
• Master's Degree in related field or 16 years' experience
• ISO credential - 6 Sigma (Lean)
• This position requires an active Secret clearance.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer; may occasionally require standing or moving about the office for extended periods.
• Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
• U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents.

Responsibilities

• Expertise in ISO skills.
• Expert to identify, analyze, and solve problems that may affect the quality of services.
• Experience conducting gap assessments, root cause analyses, and corrective action reviews.
• Demonstrated success applying Lean Six Sigma methods to improve operational efficiency and service quality.
• Experience coordinating documentation and process improvements across multiple functional teams.
• Strong technical writing, analytical, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
