About The Position

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a Subcontract Administrator to join their Supply Chain team. This role involves developing subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for procuring specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontracts supporting development, production, and global sustainment across multiple contract types. The Subcontract Administrator will prepare bid packages, conduct bidders' conferences, establish evaluation criteria, analyze proposals, negotiate subcontract provisions, select subcontractors, prepare subcontract packages for review, and administer resulting subcontracts. Responsibilities also include negotiating and coordinating modifications to subcontracts, and participating in the development of subcontract policies and procedures with contracts administration and purchasing departments. The role may involve signing supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university
  • Full-time work experience in a business environment
  • Experience with Microsoft suite of management tools (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc...)

Responsibilities

  • Develops subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontracts in support of development, production and global sustainment for multiple contract types.
  • Prepares bid packages, conducts bidders' conferences, develops evaluation criteria, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes subcontract packages for review, prepares awards and administers resulting subcontracts.
  • Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts.
  • Participates with contracts administration and purchasing to develop subcontract policies and procedures.
  • May sign supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority.
