About The Position

The Aeronautics Supply Chain team at Lockheed Martin is seeking a Subcontract Administrator. This role involves managing supplier cost, schedule, and technical performance on various programs. The position requires leading multifunctional subcontract management teams, holding procurement delegation, and signing supplier agreements and purchase orders. Responsibilities include developing subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms & conditions for specialized materials, equipment, and services. The role also involves preparing bid packages, analyzing proposals, negotiating subcontract provisions, selecting subcontractors, and administering resulting subcontracts and change activities.

Requirements

Experience or education in Supply Chain, Procurement, Subcontract Management or as a Buyer
Experience analyzing bids/proposals and selecting sources
Experience managing schedule, cost, and performance
Experience with Microsoft suite of management tools (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc...)

Nice To Haves

Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university
Experience working with cross-functional teams and providing clear direction on expectations, deliverables and ensuring completion of those items
Experience in SAP or equivalent purchasing/ERP system, such as Procure to Pay
Experience with multi-tasking and managing competing priorities
Works independently and in a collaborative team-based environment

Responsibilities

Management of supplier cost, schedule and technical performance on moderate-to-high-risk, modified Commercial Off The Shelf, performance specification and complex build-to-print subcontracts for commercial, DOD and international programs.
Lead multifunctional subcontract management teams.
Hold procurement delegation and signs supplier agreements and purchase orders (PO) within established authority.
Lead the development of subcontract specifications, work statements (SOW), and Terms & Conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontract systems in support of development, production and global sustainment primes with multiple contract types.
Prepares bid packages, conducts bidders' conferences, develop evaluation criteria, analyze and evaluate proposals, negotiate subcontract provisions including price, select or recommend subcontractors, write subcontract packages, prepare awards and administer resulting subcontracts and required change activity.
