About The Position

As a Subcontract Administrator for the F-35 Sustainment subcontract management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the global Product Support Provider network (PSPn). Your key responsibilities will include: Providing procurement support for F-35 Sustainment. Implementing and managing both CONUS (Continental United States) and OCONUS (Outside Continental United States) sustainment contracts. Developing subcontract specifications and statements of work. Negotiating and enforcing terms and conditions. Preparing bid packages and administering repair and return contracts. Evaluating subcontractor proposals and issuing authorized awards/subcontracts. Travel may be required, approximately 10-20% of the time, depending on the lifecycle of current contracts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • Experience administering subcontracts, purchase orders, supplier agreements, or procurement activities in a commercial, aerospace, defense, or government contracting environment.
  • Experience developing statements of work (SOWs), reviewing supplier proposals, and supporting contract negotiations.
  • Experience managing supplier performance, contract execution, and issue resolution throughout the procurement lifecycle.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including Program Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Finance.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Experience with Lean and continuous improvement tools
  • Negotiation and technical experience, related to product and supply chain
