About The Position

The Subcontracts Administrator I is responsible for managing the lifecycle of subcontracts from initial solicitation through contract close-out. This role includes developing subcontract agreements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, negotiating contract terms, and managing supplier relationships. They will have a basic understanding of subcontracting principles and processes, familiarity with standard subcontracting terminology and documentation, and a willingness to learn and grow in the field. In this role, you will prepare, negotiate, and administer subcontracts while supporting the monitoring of subcontractor performance to ensure compliance with contract terms. You will maintain subcontract files, ensuring proper documentation, and provide support for the resolution of subcontractor issues and disputes. Additionally, you will develop subcontract agreements in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company standards. Managing supplier relationships to ensure effective communication and performance will also be a key responsibility. Furthermore, you will assist in the close-out process of subcontracts, ensuring all terms and conditions have been met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree).
  • 0 - 2 years of experience.
  • Knowledgeable of Microsoft suite of products.
  • Basic understanding of subcontracting principles and processes.
  • Familiarity with standard subcontracting terminology and documentation.
  • Awareness of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Basic project management and administrative skills.
  • Good communication skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
