About The Position

Schomp Automotive is looking for a seasoned Subaru Certified Master Technician who loves the brand, loves WEEKENDS OFF, loves exemplifying a positive and respectful culture, and who wants to work with one of the top Subaru dealerships in the world. As a Master Technician, you will invest in coworkers via mentoring, coaching, and the training of less-experienced and less-knowledgeable teammates. You will invest in and protect the culture of the shop by exemplifying professionalism via respect as well as a positive, humble, and level-headed mindset. As an Automotive Technician / Mechanic, you will service vehicles in a timely and proficient manner for routine scheduled and regular maintenance. You'll inspect vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues, and accurately recommend replacement / repair as needed. You will work with your team toward achieving dealership, group, and manufacturer goals and benchmarks. You'll efficiently and accurately repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues, maintaining productivity goals.

Requirements

  • Certified Master Subaru Technician.
  • At least five years of full-time paid experience as a Subaru technician in a professional dealership or automotive service center.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Motivation to continually increase your knowledge & technical skills.
  • Positive team player.
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR.
  • Your own complete and up-to-date set of tools.
