As a Flat-Rate Automotive Technician, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles while producing quality work in a fast-paced dealership environment. We're looking for experienced technicians who take pride in their craftsmanship, work efficiently, and are driven to maximize both quality and productivity.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a flat-rate automotive technician
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills across multiple vehicle systems
- Consistent productivity with a commitment to quality.
- Basic computer literacy
- Ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment
- Ability to stay focused and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform the physical demands of the role
- Strong work ethic
- Dependable attendance and positive attitude
Nice To Haves
- ASE and/or manufacturer certifications preferred.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and take coaching
- Basic mechanical aptitude (schooling or experience a plus)
- Bonus points if you can drive a manual transmission
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair vehicles accurately and efficiently.
- Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs to manufacturer standards.
- Perform multi-point inspections and recommend needed repairs.
- Accurately document repair findings and completed work.
- Maintain productivity while delivering high-quality repairs.
