About The Position

Balise has immediate openings for Entry-Level Technicians to become a part of their Express Maintenance Team. As a member of this team, you can expect an investment in your career growth, including coaching, mentoring, and paid hands-on and/or web-based factory training. The company provides tool assistance programs to help you acquire necessary tools, offers forty hours per week of competitive pay (paid weekly), and provides opportunities for top-of-scale wage increases as you progress from Express to Certified to Master Technician. Uniforms are provided, and you will work in an OSHA Certified, clean, professional, modern, climate-controlled, state-of-the-art facility equipped with advanced technology and equipment. The position also includes a generous paid time off policy that begins the month you are onboarded.

Requirements

• A current valid driver’s license and insurability rating is required.
• Knowledge of automotive service fundamentals.
• Working knowledge of automotive tools and shop equipment.
• A professional work ethic and the ability to exercise good judgement.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Prior technician experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Acquire knowledge of automotive systems and the ability to explain systems and repairs to others.
• Learn to estimate time of service or repair jobs for purposes of efficient scheduling.
• Understand parts requirements to complete a job and communicate parts requirements via repair orders.
• Adhere to approved and established procedures for conducting service and repairs.
• Comply with quality control and inspection requirements of the Service Department.
• Maintain the highest levels of quality and pride in your work.
