About The Position
This substitute food service worker position will be working in a local school kitchen/cafeteria on an as-needed basis. The position will be for Upper Dauphin ASD, Williams Valley SD, Millersburg SD, and Halifax SD.
Requirements
- Must obtain clearances and pass criminal background checks
- Ability to read recipes and basic math skills required
- A positive and consistent work ethic
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- A willingness to learn and grow within your position
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Food service experience preferred
- Computer literacy preferred
Responsibilities
- Cooking and food preparation
- Portioning and serving food
- Sanitation in conjunction with USDA and state guidelines
- HAACP and health department regulation compliance
- Assisting to monitor costs and inventory controls
- Operating a cash register/money handling
- Manual Dishwashing/ Cleaning duties
