About The Position

Sub-Assembly Technicians are responsible for the prep and sub-assembly of materials and products in the manufacturing process.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail, quality, and precision.
  • Ability to work efficiently and stay organized
  • Comfortable sitting or standing for extended periods while working on tasks
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and drawings

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing experience and familiarity with power/hand tools are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Sub-assemble products and components such as marine dash panels and glove boxes, according to blueprints, engineering specifications, and production schedules.
  • Safely utilize hand/power tools, such as drills and screwdrivers, in addition to weld-mount and other supplies as necessary to complete sub-assembly tasks.
  • Inspect sub-assembled products and components to ensure they meet all quality standards and specifications.
  • Report and troubleshoot any issues with materials or sub-assemblies to the production supervisor.
  • Safely handle and store manufacturing materials such as metals, plastics, composites.
  • Work closely with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively to address any challenges and suggest improvements to any work processes.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and practices, including using protective equipment (PPE) in required production areas.
  • Maintain clean and organized workstation, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient production environment.
