About The Position

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Sub Assembly-Drawers, Technician II, 2nd Shift. The hourly rate for this position is $18.11 per hour plus a $1.00 per hour shift differential. This position is eligible for a variable incentive program. Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
Experience with hand and pneumatic (air) tools.

No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Greenwood, SC will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Willing to work flexible hours and overtime in support of business needs.
Utilize various hand and power tools, step ladder and crane to assemble and verify quality in a Lean environment.
Must be able to use standard computer programs such as Microsoft Outlook/Teams and job specific programs such as ENOVIA.

Nice To Haves

3 months of manufacturing experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
3 months of experience using hand and air tools
South Carolina Manufacturing Certification (SCMC) or equivalent

Responsibilities

Assembling and wiring medium-voltage sub-assemblies and internal components.
Interpreting manufacturing instructions, electrical and mechanical drawings, sketches, and both written and verbal directions from supervisors or engineering, following established procedures.
Conducting visual inspections of materials before and after assembly, identifying nonconforming parts, and performing troubleshooting as needed.
Conducting hipot testing on assemblies.
Using a variety of fixtures, gauges, and assembly tools to assemble, adjust, and repair components.
Performing tasks such as layout, drilling, sawing, punching, riveting, and painting materials as required.
Applying proper identification labels to completed sub-assemblies in accordance with requirements.
Organizing finished products into shipping groups for external customers and preparing assemblies for shipment or storage as appropriate.
Assembling, wiring, and mounting equipment for both sub-assemblies and customer service orders.
Completing required checklists and feedback documentation for finished products.
Other duties may be assigned as business needs require.
