About The Position
The Stylist is tasked with performing hair and nail care procedures (as licensed) necessary for the general well-being and comfort of residents and employees. This position is strictly for filling in for absences or vacations.
Requirements
- Knowledge of/experience in technology and systems management - Office Suite (Microsoft), and scheduling systems
- Proficient interpersonal / customer service skills - Able to communicate effectively, with team members, and residents, and members of the community.
- Represents the organization in a professional and engaging manner
- Current Cosmetology Operator's License in the State of Pennsylvania

Responsibilities
- Responsible for sterilization and sanitation in their area according to State law
- Maintain the service room in a neat, clean order
- Schedules service appointments and take payments for services through the point-of-sale system
- Communicate product needs with the Lead Stylist or Salon Services Manager as appropriate
- Communicate possible health care and safety needs to the coordinators of the appropriate levels of living
- Responsible for returning personal belongings (i.e. eyeglasses, hearing aids) to the resident being serviced
- Follow emergency procedures and respond rapidly and appropriately to emergencies, ensuring the safety of the residents and team members
- Follow proper procedures and promote safe work practices to maintain a safe working environment
- Follow departmental policies and procedures to ensure a productive working environment
