About The Position

A Stylist contributes to driving sales by providing a genuine experience to each customer. The role represents the Free People brand on the sales floor, engaging with customers through personalized conversation, advice, and product knowledge, while using technology to stay informed about in-store and online events and offers. The Stylist collaborates with peers and leadership and helps maintain the store’s visual and operational standards, with a focus on the customer.

Requirements

Experience in customer service.

Ability to work flexible hours to meet store needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Represent the brand and its values while maintaining an energized pace on the sales floor.
Initiate conversations and share advice and product knowledge to provide personalized customer interactions throughout the store.
Use technology to stay informed about store and online events and special offers, supporting an omnichannel customer experience.
Contribute to an inclusive, people-first team by being positive, respectful, and helpful.
Collaborate with peers and leadership, share ideas, and participate in daily meetings, store initiatives, and brand focuses.
Participate in learning and sharing product knowledge, current trends, and personal styling priorities.
Maintain Free People’s visual and operational standards while keeping the focus on the customer.
Support the shipment process to learn about new and reshipped products.
Follow store safety standards, support inventory accuracy and product-loss reduction, and comply with company policies and procedures to support store profitability.
