About The Position

A Stylist contributes to driving sales through providing a genuine experience to each customer. This role involves acting as a brand representative, driving the store experience on the sales floor with an energized pace, and initiating conversations to share advice and product knowledge. Stylists utilize technology to stay informed about store and online events and offers, maintaining an omni perspective to enhance the customer experience. They also contribute to an inclusive and people-first philosophy by being positive, respectful, and helpful to others, collaborating with peers and leadership, and actively participating in team meetings and initiatives. The role includes learning and sharing product knowledge, current trends, and styling priorities to inspire customers. Additionally, Stylists maintain Free People’s visual and operational standards, support the shipment process to stay aware of new products, and adhere to safety standards, inventory accuracy, and loss reduction policies to support store profitability.

Requirements

Experience in customer service
Experience being a team player
Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the store including nights, weekends, and holidays

Participates in the learning and sharing of product knowledge, current trends, and personal styling priorities to inspire the customer
Maintains Free People’s visual and operational standards while keeping the focus on the customer
Supports the shipment process to gain awareness of product including what’s new and what’s reship
Adheres to store’s safety standards, inventory accuracy, reduction of product loss, and upholds all company policy and procedures to support the profitability of the store
