About The Position

SavATree's Stump Grinders apply knowledge in the tree care industry by completing the last phase in the tree removal process. The Stump grinder will complete stump grinding work orders for our commercial and residential clients. The main focus of this position is to provide excellent service to our customers by completing the stump grinding work on their property. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work outside on beautiful properties in your community. You will apply your expertise to ensure the on-going health, beauty, and well-being of each client’s landscape.

Requirements

Ability to run stump grinding equipment in various weather conditions.
1-2 years of hands-on experience in the green industry.
Must be able to operate equipment safely.
The responsibility and independence to work autonomously.
Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills to understand and meet client needs.
Valid driver's license.
Requires frequent standing, kneeling, walking, pulling, reaching, stooping and bending.
Requires walking primarily on uneven turf or rocky areas while on job sites.
Will be exposed to dust, dyes, grease, odors, mechanical and electrical hazards, and all types of weather and temperature conditions.
Job requires ability to work with hand tools, small and large engine equipment, skid steers, and loaders.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Requires good manual dexterity.
Excellent stamina is required.
Work with and near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis.
