Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 365 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.

Requirements

6 months work history with the same employer.
6 months of machine operator experience.
Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
Willing and able to perform routine repetitive tasks, bending, pulling and lifting up to 30 - 60 pounds constantly.
Willing and able to frequently stand continuously and walk up to ½ mile during the shift.
Sufficient near, far, color and depth perception vision to perform operations.
Willing and able to work in extremes of temperature.

Nice To Haves

Certified to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jack.

Responsibilities

Supply quality pepperoni to slice.
Keep up with production demands for stick and super dice production while adhering to all quality, safety, and good housekeeping/sanitation needs.
Follow all instructions both verbal and written.
Set up and tear down of Risco Stuffer, Tipper-tie, Super Dice Stuffing table, and all other pipes, valve stations, heaters, and equipment necessary to produce product in the pepperoni grind room.
Operate and run all equipment essential to producing product in the pepperoni grind room.
Ensure that all sticks meet diameter and weight requirements, that clips are secure, that no air is being stuffed into casing, and all other checks and duties of production are being followed.
Observe Tyson/USDA safety and sanitation rules, utilize proper lifting techniques to avoid injury to themselves and others, wear appropriate personal protective equipment, operate pallet jack.
