The Study Coordinator manages clinical research activities being conducted by the “Engagement in Childhood-Onset Systemic lupus” (ECHOS) lab led by Dr. Tamar Rubinstein, the Principal Investigator. Dr. Rubinstein is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics and of Psychiatry & Behavioral Health at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and her portfolio includes NIH funded as well as foundation funded research. The ECHOS lab aims to partner with patients and families in patient-engaged research to identify psychosocial factors influencing health outcomes in youth with lupus and other rheumatologic conditions, and to develop and test innovative interventions for patients and families that address mental health and downstream disease outcomes. The Study Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of data collection and administrative and regulatory tasks related to the study execution. They will manage professional and support staff, and work with a team of medical students, research fellows, and other investigators at Einstein/Montefiore and in collaborating institutes across North America. This position is a full-time in-person position.
