We are the employer of choice as the owner and operator of Ball Arena, DICK’S Sporting Goods Park, the Paramount Theatre, Denver Nuggets (NBA), the Colorado Avalanche (NHL), Colorado Mammoth (NLL), Colorado Rapids (MLS), Altitude Sports & Entertainment, Major League Fishing/Fishing League Worldwide (MLFLW), Winnercomm, Outdoor Sportsman Group and SkyCam. The Studio Technician position operates several different technical positions in the Altitude studio, including but not limited to camera, jib camera, duet, audio, technical director and EVS. The Studio Manager & Director crews the Studio Technician for specific shifts for various Altitude productions. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
- Ability to maintain positive attitude and demonstrate professionalism
- Ability to complete work accurately and in a timely manner
- Ability to work independently & in a group setting and demonstrate good judgment skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work in the fast-paced, high stress environment of live television
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, adapt to changing environment
- Must have general knowledge of headset and RTS panel operations
Nice To Haves
- 2+ years of television experience
Responsibilities
- Operate Jib camera for pregame & postgame shows
- Operate EVS tape machine for pregame & postgame shows
- Operate duet graphics machine for pregame & postgame shows
- Operate Sony switcher for pregame & postgame shows
- Assist director with lighting on set
- Operate audio board for pregame & postgame shows, mic talent and monitor audio levels
