About The Position

The Studio Production Coordinator will manage day-to-day photo and lifestyle shoot logistics, studio operations, and vendor partnerships to ensure smooth, high-quality creative output. This role acts as a central operational liaison, partnering closely with brand marketing and merchant teams to manage shot lists, handle end-to-end sample inventory, and organize studio space and prop management. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment supporting photo teams both on set and behind the scenes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Visual Communication, Photography, Marketing, Operations, or a related field preferred.
  • 0-1 year of experience in production coordination, creative planning, or commercial studio operations; previous experience in retail production is a plus.
  • Experience working with multiple vendors simultaneously and familiarity with creative workflows, shot list planning, and collaborating with marketing and creative teams.
  • Basic technical knowledge of photo studio workflows, Capture One, or Adobe Photoshop (retouching skills a major plus).
  • Strong organizational skills, excellent interpersonal communication, detail-oriented mindset, continuous drive to learn, and strong multitasking and proactive problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs. and standing for extended periods during studio shoots.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate studio production planning, scheduling shoot timelines, and managing vendor partnerships.
  • Partner closely with the brand marketing and merchant teams to align on shot lists and creative expectations.
  • Oversee end-to-end sample management, including tracking, receiving, organizing, and preparing product inventory for shoots.
  • Source, fulfill, organize, and manage props for studio and lifestyle shoots. Set up, break down, and maintain studio staging, equipment, and production spaces.
  • Assist with staging, preparing, and packing before and after shoots. Support photo teams during shoots with logistics, setup, set changes, and general onsite problem-solving.
  • Organize, track, and manage studio files and operational workflows.
  • Perform image retouching and color accuracy adjustments as needed.
