About The Position

The Studio Producer is responsible for end-to-end production management of campaign, brand, and ecommerce photography and video. This role owns intake prioritization, scheduling, and SKU-level accountability from the point of studio receipt through final asset delivery and upload readiness. The Studio Producer bridges creative vision and operational execution, ensuring assets are delivered on time, on brand, and technically accurate. In addition to production ownership, this role serves as a people manager for key post-production and asset-focused team members, strengthening accountability and reducing operational strain across the studio.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of photography and/or video production experience, preferably in ecommerce or brand environments.
  • Strong understanding of studio production workflows, post-production processes, and digital asset management.
  • Experience managing timelines, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated people management experience.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, especially in high-SKU or high-volume environments.
  • Strong communication and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

  • Own production planning and execution for campaign, brand, and ecommerce photography and video.
  • Translate creative briefs into actionable production plans, timelines, and shot lists.
  • Maintain SKU-level accountability once SKUs are received into the studio pipeline, from capture through final retouch, QA, and upload readiness.
  • Ensure all required SKUs are captured, retouched, properly named, organized, and delivered accurately.
  • Monitor production progress daily and proactively identify risks or bottlenecks.
  • Adjust sequencing and priorities as needed to protect launches and key milestones.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Creative, Marketing, Merchandising, and Ecommerce teams to align expectations and timelines.
  • Manage external vendors, freelancers, and post-production partners when required.
  • Partner closely with the Studio Manager to align production schedules with merchandise availability.
  • Validate that received SKUs align to shot lists, creative intent, and production needs prior to shoot execution.
  • Flag discrepancies, missing items, or condition issues that could impact production timelines or asset completeness.
  • Maintain visibility into SKU readiness and communicate risks that may affect launches or deliverables.
  • Ensure assets meet brand standards, creative intent, and technical specifications.
  • Review work at key milestones to prevent downstream rework.
  • Safeguard launch readiness and minimize errors that impact revenue or customer experience.
  • Directly manage the In-House Retoucher, Production Assistant, and Digital Asset Manager.
  • Set priorities and performance expectations aligned to production timelines.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and development support.
  • Balance workload across post-production and asset management resources.
  • Clarify accountability for file naming, metadata accuracy, and upload validation.
  • Improve production workflows to increase efficiency and reduce friction.
  • Maintain clear visibility into project status, SKU progress, and delivery readiness.
  • Establish reporting mechanisms that provide leadership with transparency into progress and risk.
