Produce flexible, comprehensive, multi-media designs for GAC customers and prospective clients with minimal supervision. Work directly with customers to capture design requirements and execute concepts that facilitate on time definition. Specify all interior components ensuring all FAA and GAC contractual guidelines are met. This role involves communicating with Chairmen/CEOs of Fortune 500 companies and high net worth individuals to meet business objectives, representing the GAC Brand with professionalism, and supporting the Principal Designer in communicating concepts throughout the sales and design definition process. The Studio Designer will also request and maintain the status of production for design drawings, material selections, concepts, and product development, ensuring timely completion of contracts. The position requires extensive worldwide travel, sometimes on short notice, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, operations, engineering, internal shops, and vendors. The Studio Designer will work collaboratively with customer completions to produce, maintain, and archive the specification and design package without supervision, exhibit knowledge of design trends and global cultural influences, and provide design support throughout the completion process. Maintaining current knowledge of FAA regulations related to aircraft interiors and executing material finish schedules are also key responsibilities. Additional duties include assisting in maintaining design libraries and showrooms, concept development for client presentations, providing guidance to Associate Designers, troubleshooting design-related issues, providing input to design budgets, attending design reviews, and reviewing all documents for accuracy prior to release.
