About The Position

The Studio Coordinator (SC) supports the world-class CorePower Yoga studio experience by coordinating studio operations and upholding the highest health and safety standards. In alignment with Core Values, the SC works alongside the Studio Manager to deliver results and sustained growth towards company and studio-level goals. This role provides an opportunity to learn the business and develop the skillset to operate a studio.

Requirements

  • Must demonstrate CorePower Yoga Core Values.
  • Excellent oral communication skills, professionalism, and exceptional interpersonal skills are required.
  • Experience in Customer Service required.
  • Familiar and comfortable in studio systems such as the HRIS, intranet, point of sale systems, company scheduling and payroll systems, etc.
  • Ability to build relationships with individuals with diverse personalities and styles and at different levels of seniority.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can prioritize while working under multiple deadlines.
  • Proven self-starter with ability to take on new projects with enthusiasm.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
  • Excellent Time Management skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and prioritize.
  • Availability must match the needs of the business and leadership zig-zag schedules – morning, evening, weekend, and some holiday availability and flexibility required.
  • Must be able to move around the studio space, crouch, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • If certified to teach, must be able to step in to teach class with little to no notice while scheduled in the studio.

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of a Yoga Alliance certified 200-hour program is preferred.
  • Yoga Sculpt teacher training is preferred.
  • College (BA/BS) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an ambassador of the CorePower Yoga Core Values and inspire these values in others.
  • Support the Studio Manager in achieving company and studio level goals, including membership growth, retail sales, community outreach, teacher and SET recruitment, and programming enrollment.
  • Commit to flexible schedule of 18-29 hours per week in studio for operations coordination, teaching (if certified), health and safety protocol execution, front desk guidance, and team support.
  • Responsibly run the studio, acting as the point of contact for students and staff when the Studio Manager is not present (up to 20 hours per week).
  • Support maintaining an appropriate level of studio supply inventory, ensuring all provisions and amenities are available for students.
  • Engage with and know the studio community, greeting students by name, serving as an ambassador of yoga, and fostering community at the front desk.
  • Support teachers' learning experience with the POS and other pre/post-class duties.
  • Uphold high standards for the studio, ensuring the physical space meets CPY standards of cleanliness and functionality, including a safe environment, optimum heat and humidity, inspiring music, and clean, clutter-free surroundings.
  • Support communication around Smart Health Protocol to students.
  • Act as an extension of the Studio Experience Team (SET), including cleaning the studio, stocking amenities, and ensuring CPY cleanliness protocol is followed.
  • Support the SET team by interviewing applicants, hiring SET employees, scheduling shifts, stepping in for no-call/no-shows, training, and disciplining/terminating SET employees.
  • Lead orientation for new Studio Experience Team members and train them on cleanliness protocol and role expectations.
  • Act as a liaison between the Studio Manager and the teaching and SET teams in training, communicating, and coordinating studio operational systems (POS, Online Reservation System, Subbing Application, HRIS Application, Help Desk).
  • Submit facilities tickets when on duty and communicate follow-up needs to the Studio Manager.
  • Support the studio class schedule by teaching a minimum of 6 classes per week and subbing additional classes as needed.
