Requirements

  • Dependable broadcast professional with strong technical expertise and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Professional experience supporting live broadcasts, studio operations, or broadcast engineering environments.
  • Working knowledge of broadcast signal flow, routing, switching, and streaming technologies.
  • Experience with live production control rooms and multi-camera broadcast workflows.
  • Familiarity with video switchers, streaming platforms, production routing, and multiview systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure during live events.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to support multiple productions simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
  • Passion for learning new broadcast technologies and continuously improving production workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure every production is set up for success by configuring routing, video switchers, Stream Decks, and production systems for live events.
  • Build and test SuperSource layouts and production workflows.
  • Perform rehearsal broadcasts and technical quality assurance prior to every event.
  • Configure production multiview layouts for both on-air talent and the control room.
  • Verify signal flow, routing, and system readiness across all broadcast components.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues before they impact production.
  • Operate Live-to-Air (LTA) workflows while managing multiple remote participants.
  • Monitor live streams to ensure exceptional audio and video quality.
  • Manage audience Q&A workflows and coordinate communication with production teams.
  • Broadcast events to designated streaming destinations while maintaining backup transmission paths for uninterrupted delivery.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues quickly to minimize disruptions during live productions.
  • Generate attendance and engagement reports after events.
  • Clean and organize production data for internal distribution.
  • Upload reports and production assets to Microsoft Teams.
  • Assist with equipment teardown, inventory, and proper storage.
  • Prepare production spaces for upcoming events.
  • Create and distribute broadcast links and production communications.
  • Maintain production schedules, checklists, and standard operating procedures.
  • Manage equipment inventory, organization, and cable management.
  • Perform routine maintenance, updates, and testing on broadcast hardware, laptops, rack equipment, and production systems.
  • Support conference rooms and meeting spaces with pre-event technical checks.
  • Assist with special corporate events, including audio/video setups in common spaces.
  • Stay current with emerging broadcast technologies, production software, and industry best practices while recommending improvements to workflows and equipment.
