PLEASE NOTE: This opportunity is only open to students that are currently enrolled at least half-time in high school. These positions are estimated to work mid-May to September. As a temporary, full-time Student Forester Worker at Jessie M. Honeyman Memorial State Park, you will assist or work in partnership with park rangers volunteers, and hosts in performing park maintenance tasks. Duties include but are not limited to janitorial work, landscape maintenance, interpretation, and visitor services directly affecting kayak, paddleboards, pedal boats and sand board rental operations near cleawox lake.

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled at least half-time in high school.
  • To be hired, a criminal record and driving record check must be completed that meets OPRD Criteria at the time of hire, and throughout employment while also maintaining a valid drivers license.
