About The Position

The Great Basin College (GBC) Teacher Education Department is seeking a dependable and organized student worker who is currently declared in an Education degree program. The student worker will provide general clerical and administrative support to the department.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits for the semester and maintain a 2.0 GPA
• Must qualify for Work Study or RSP through Student Financial Services
• Must be a currently enrolled GBC student declared in an Education degree program.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Reliable, responsible, and punctual.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle departmental materials appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic clerical duties, including filing, shredding, and organizing documents.
• Distribute student materials and assist with departmental needs.
• Use Microsoft Word and Excel to complete assigned tasks.
• Provide general office and administrative support.
• Assist with other department-related projects and duties as assigned.
