About The Position
The selected student worker will assist with maintaining the LCCC student garden plot located at Baumhart Berry Farm, 2200 Baumhart Road, Vermilion, Ohio. Responsibilities include watering, weeding, and harvesting crops as needed throughout the growing season. This position offers flexible scheduling and requires coverage for approximately 2 workdays per week at the farm location. Work must be completed during the farm’s regular operating hours. Duties may include weeding and maintaining raised garden beds; harvesting crops when ready; monitoring and reporting any issues related to deer fencing or other garden needs; and assisting with additional tasks related to the raised-bed garden as assigned.
