About The Position
A library worker for the Phillips Library is an integral part of library functions. The individual is a representative of the Phillips Library both in the office and on campus.
Requirements
- Students are paid the current minimum wage for Maryland.
- Students will work a total of eight (8) hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Manage printer functions.
- Handle circulation transactions.
- Answer patron questions regarding library procedure and services.
- Be a receptionist for the library.
- Perform light reference work as deemed by the library supervisor.
- Complete inventory of all library materials.
- Assist with moving and removing items from the collection.
- Be able to lift and drag up to 50 lbs.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
