About The Position
The International Student Worker – Social Media Ambassador supports Baylor University's International Undergraduate Admissions team by helping engage prospective international students and families through digital communication channels. This role serves as a friendly and knowledgeable student representative, assisting with outreach efforts and helping prospective students learn more about Baylor and the international student experience.
Requirements
- Current Baylor University student
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- Interest in supporting international student recruitment
- Comfortable using social media and messaging platforms
- Comfortable interacting with diverse audiences in a professional manner

- Mandarin language proficiency
Responsibilities
- Posting and sharing approved content on platforms such as WhatsApp and WeChat
- Monitoring messages
- Responding to routine inquiries
- Directing students to appropriate admissions resources
- Assisting with prospective student engagement initiatives
- Providing occasional feedback on topics and questions that are important to international students
- Helping support recruitment events and communications as needed
