About The Position

The Blinn College District is searching for a Student Worker - Esports at our Brenham Campus. This role will assist the Dean's office and Esports program with various office duties and daily operations of the Esports Arena. The position requires a willingness to learn, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to act professionally as an Esports representative.

Requirements

Must be federal work study eligible.
Must be at least a half time student.
Must be willing to learn and train effectively and efficiently within a team oriented environment.
Customer service experience.
No current or pending disciplinary sanctions.

Responsibilities

Assist with daily operations of Dean's office and Esports Arena.
Assist with maintaining organization of Esports Arena.
Assist with filing, making copies, and processing of paperwork.
Keep track of supplies.
Assist with computer applications.
Observe appropriate dress codes.
Possess and demonstrate excellent telephone etiquette and provide superior customer service.
Assist the department with student, staff/faculty, and community events.
Report damage or theft to the supervisor immediately.
Serve as a communication liaison between students and Esports staff.
Maintain acceptable work standards.
Effectively address questions or problems presented, or make appropriate referral.
Respect confidentiality.
Be friendly, cooperative, and appreciative to other personnel.
Act professionally and as a Esports representative.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the public.
Other duties as assigned.
