The Student Wellness Counselor is responsible for assisting in the screening process and providing short-term, solution-focused counseling services that address both personal and academic concerns, including issues related to mental wellness and substance abuse. This position plays a vital role in supporting current and prospective students in achieving their educational and life goals. The Counselor also facilitates presentations and workshops focused on personal and professional development, with a strong emphasis on wellness, mental health, and substance abuse awareness. Additionally, the role works closely with the Student Support and Disability Services Office to ensure equitable access for students with disabilities, in full compliance with applicable laws. This part time position requires availability for 20 hours per week.
