Student Transportation Driver (Van) Pool
About The Position
The Vision of the Solano County Office of Education (SCOE) is to prepare students to learn, grow, thrive, and achieve lifelong success. The Mission is promoting equity and excellence by working with our school districts and community partners to create opportunities that address the needs of every student. This role is responsible for transporting students to and from school within prescribed routes, transporting students on field trips authorized by school officials and parents, and assuring the safety of the student while a passenger in the school vehicle. Transports individual students in non-school bus vehicles following Federal transportation guidelines. This position involves morning and afternoon routes.
Requirements
- Possession of a California State Class C Driver’s License.
- Possession of a safe driving record.
- Ability to obtain a Red Cross First Aid Certification.
- Possession of CPR certification.
- Fingerprinting
- TB Clearance
- Physical Clearance
Responsibilities
- Transport students to and from school within prescribed routes.
- Transport students on field trips authorized by school officials and parents.
- Assure the safety of the student while a passenger in the school vehicle.
