About The Position

This role involves a variety of tasks within a medical setting, focusing on patient preparation, documentation, and support services. Adaptability to support various departments and perform additional duties as assigned is expected.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in a Medical Assistant Program.

Responsibilities

• Complete all required training materials, workshops, and educational programs to maintain and enhance job-related knowledge and skills.
• Prepare patients for examinations and diagnostic procedures according to clinic protocols.
• Obtain and document vital signs, height, weight, and medical history responses per clinic procedures.
• Provide educational materials and general health information to patients and families as needed.
• Assist with transporting patients to ancillary departments or inpatient units as directed.
• Clean patient rooms, monitor supplies, restock inventory, and report equipment repair needs.
• Answer telephones, relay messages, schedule appointments, and coordinate diagnostic tests and procedures.
• Be adaptable to support various departments and perform additional duties as assigned.
