About The Position

The Student Tech Liaison ensures the classroom and event audiovisual equipment is working properly and the overall learning experience is smooth for faculty and students. This position is available to currently enrolled first and second year PNWU students and is expected to work an average of five hours a week, coordinating schedules with other students to ensure coverage of classroom needs across campus.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• General knowledge of basic Windows operating system

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with setup and configuration of audiovisual equipment including projectors, microphones, PC and Mac input/outputs, and document cameras
• Strong organization, interpersonal, and planning skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a team and flexibility to work with others in a variety of circumstances
• Ability to problem solve by analyzing issues and creating action plans
• Ability to manage projects and people and prioritize and self-direct work flow
• Ability to work with and manage different computer programs and databases

Responsibilities

• Setup and assist faculty with equipment in instructional spaces
• Setup and operate equipment for meetings, presentations, and events
• Other duties as assigned
