About The Position

This role involves supporting IT applications in manufacturing areas, including WMS, Andon, and MES. The technician will set up and support IT hardware such as shop floor PCs, label printers, and scanners. Responsibilities also include monitoring and ensuring security compliance for computers and mobile devices, providing backup support for Systems Administrators, and assisting with the documentation of IT/OT systems, standards, and procedures. The role requires adherence to safety regulations and Mytox BOS manual procedures, maintaining a clean workspace, and providing on-call and on-site technical support outside of regular business hours as needed.

Requirements

Post-secondary degree/diploma or equivalent in IT with at least second year completed.
Excellent English communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
Exceptional problem-solving skills with strong attention to accuracy and detail.
Familiarity with computers, printers, cell phones and network switches.
Familiarity with Office 365 and other business applications.
A definite interest in technology, computer hardware & software.

Nice To Haves

Manufacturing experience
Familiarity with SQL, Kepware, PLCs, Power Apps, Power BI, and scripting.

Responsibilities

Ensure that all Systems procedures are carried out in accordance with the Mytox BOS manual.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace in IT areas using effective housekeeping practices.
Provide on-call technical support and on-site technical support for Mytox Personnel outside of regular business hours as required.
Adheres to all Mytox safety rules and regulations.
Any other reasonable request by management.
