About The Position

The Supplemental Instruction (SI) Leader will be responsible for attending ECO 101 - 03/04 every time that their assigned section meets during fall 26. The SI Leader will also be responsible for planning and facilitating two 50-minute weekly review sessions for the duration of fall 26. This is a student worker position within the Office of Student Success, located on campus. The role requires 8-10 hours per week for the duration of the fall 26 semester, with a pay rate of $16.00/hr. One position is available.

Requirements

• Must have completed and earned an A/A- in the course you are applying for.
• Must have completed 3 terms at Union.
• Must have a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA at Union.

Responsibilities

• Attend assigned section of ECO 101 - 03/04 every time that the course meets.
• Actively take notes and model positive student behaviors in the classroom while the Professor is teaching.
• Plan and facilitate two weekly 50-minute review sessions for the duration of the term.
• Complete all required training prior to the start of week 2 (may entail remote training).
• Attend one meeting with the Director of Student Success every other week.
• Attend one weekly meeting with the Professor teaching the course.
