Roseville Area Schools has two vacancies for a Student Success Supervisor Coach. This is an 8-hour, 198-day position starting August 11, 2026. The Student Success Supervisor Coach will provide districtwide support. The primary objectives of this position are to provide continuous support to the overall educational environment by utilizing school-wide positive behavior interventions and supports as well as Responsive Classroom Strategies in order to address student behaviors. This role involves communicating and collaborating with families and staff regarding intervention and support plans for students. The coach will lead groups of students to support their social, emotional, behavioral and academic success, provide professional development to staff on equity, and employ restorative justice strategies to help students restore the environment after harm has been done. Additionally, the role includes providing a Check and Connect program for students, being trained and willing to lead circles, mediations, and other restorative practices as needed, and developing positive relationships with all students while serving as a mentor across cultural differences. Student Success Supervisor Coaches are committed to students and their learning, dedicated to helping students maximize learning time and minimize time out of the classroom due to behavior. They act on the belief that all students can follow expectations with appropriate support, treat students equitably, and adjust their practice based on student needs. They understand and implement research-based strategies like Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS), Check and Connect, and Restorative Justice (RJ) practices, and can defuse and deescalate situations using strategies like Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI). They monitor the success of interventions and adapt as needed, ranging from immediate reactions to long-range collaborative plans. Communication and collaboration with staff and families are key, ensuring clarity on responses to concerns and follow-up, while maintaining confidentiality of private data. Input from staff and families is sought and incorporated, especially for longer-term interventions. Home visits may be necessary for communication and collaboration.
