About The Position

EPATT is seeking a data-driven, highly organized Student Success Coordinator to manage daily operations and student growth for the TopSpin high school program. In this role, you will lead the full internship lifecycle—from recruitment and onboarding to daily management—and curate special industry experiences tailored to student career interests. You will also track student grades and college preparatory activities, organize college trips, and leverage professional volunteers to assist with scholarship and college applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree / College diploma required.
  • Experience working with high school youth, college access programs, youth development, or internship management preferred.
  • Goal-driven, highly organized, and detail-oriented regarding data, scheduling, and hour-tracking.
  • Dynamic, engaging presenter comfortable attending outreach events and speaking to prospective students and families.
  • Proficient with basic data entry, spreadsheets, and time-tracking systems.
  • Strong communication skills across phone, text, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Spanish/English bilingual strongly preferred.
  • Must pass required background checks and clearances.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the recruitment, application, and onboarding process for prospective student interns, including attending high school fairs and community events to market this exclusive opportunity.
  • Direct and manage high school student interns daily, providing clear performance expectations, professional mentorship, and actionable feedback.
  • Track, log, and manage intern work hours accurately to ensure smooth payroll processing.
  • Create, manage, and communicate intern schedules to other program staff and supervisors in a timely, proactive manner.
  • Partner with EPATT staff and professional volunteers to curate custom experiences, site visits, and career exposures tailored to students' professional interests.
  • Create engaging lessons and workshops focused on high school success, professional communication, and career exploration.
  • Organize college-oriented programming, including college campus tours, guest speaker panels, and workshops.
  • Recruit, onboard, and leverage professional volunteers to assist students individually with college applications, personal statements, and scholarship submissions.
  • Monitor and track student grades, coursework, attendance, and college-preparatory milestones.
  • Identify trends and flag students falling behind academically or missing key college preparation deadlines.
  • Deliver regular data summaries to the EPATT team to inform targeted academic and college readiness interventions.
  • Run a structured daily schedule that seamlessly integrates academic tutoring, internship work, and college/career preparation activities.
  • Communicate regularly with parents/caregivers regarding attendance, schedules, events, and college milestones.
  • Represent EPATT and TopSpin as an ambassador at school, community, and recruitment events.
