This position is responsible for performing basic respiratory care services. Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent and currently enrolled in a Respiratory Care Program
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
Responsibilities
- Evaluates patient outcomes and communicates any needed changes in the plan of care to the multidisciplinary team
- Provides instructions to patients and/or responsible persons
- Accepts reassignment to other units when necessary
- Provides respiratory care as ordered by the physician
