A.T Still University's Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (ATSU-KCOM) is seeking a non-exempt, part-time Student Research Assistant on the Kirksville, Missouri Campus. The Research Assistant (RA) will support the implementation of the Equity-Focused Participation Assessment Toolkit (EPAT), a project funded by the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME) Emerging Innovators Grant. The position provides hands-on experience in educational research, data collection, and equity-focused curriculum development in medical education. The Student Research Assistant Reports to the Principal Investigator of the NBME Grant. The Research Assistant will receive direct mentorship from the principal investigator and collaborating faculty. Training will include: Research ethics and IRB procedures for educational research; Qualitative coding and data management using NVivo; Workshop facilitation and communication strategies in academic settings; Exposure to equity-centered assessment frameworks and bias mitigation in medical education.
