This is a temporary, fixed-term position for a Student Research Assistant in Physiology and Cell Biology, located at the Biomedical Research Tower (0112) within The Ohio State University's Department of Medicine, School of Biomedicine Science. The role involves assisting with biological/health sciences research under the direct supervision of a Principal Investigator or Laboratory Manager. Key duties include conducting library research, preparing experimental media/solutions and reagents, performing various research techniques with assistance from lab members, and documenting, organizing, and analyzing research data under the oversight of senior lab members. The assistant will also operate complex laboratory equipment with guidance. The position is scheduled for 20 hours per week with varying shifts. Successful candidates will undergo a background check, and a drug screen or physical may be required post-offer.
