About The Position
Undergraduate Student Research Assistant position in the Fruit and Vegetable Entomology Lab at Ohio State University (Wooster, OH) This is a part-time (up to 38 hrs./wk.) position. Start date is May 2026; ending in summer/fall 2026. Individuals will assist on a broad selection of pest management projects including 1) vegetable pest management, 2) pollinator health, and 3) invasive species monitoring. This position is located in Wooster, Ohio on The Ohio State University College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences campus.
Requirements
- Interest in agricultural science, especially pest management
- Must have a driver's license and be able to work independently
- Strong attention to detail and ability to remain organized in a variety of environments
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience conducting lab or field research is preferable but not required
