About The Position

The Domestic Recruitment Team is seeking a passionate and experienced individual to develop, support and participate in student recruitment activities. This unique role offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and engaging work environment, support meaningful experiences for prospective students, and help showcase the culture and community at Olds College, both on campus and throughout the province.

Requirements

  • Must have a driver's license.
  • Highly motivated, positive and enthusiastic
  • Detailed oriented and takes pride in their work
  • Strong relationship building, communication and collaboration skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Required to work some evenings and weekends.
  • Travel to recruitment events outside of Olds, Alberta that may require overnight stays in accommodations paid for by the college.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, identify, and launch cutting-edge recruitment strategies that turn prospective leads into the next generation of registered students.
  • Dive deep into market research and craft insightful briefs to inform big-picture decisions that drive the College’s success.
  • Plan and lead high-energy recruitment events—from high school tours to major trade shows.
  • Build and nurture vital relationships with counselors, community leaders, and parents, delivering captivating presentations that bring our programs to life.
  • Recruit, coach, and manage talented student assistants and ambassadors.
  • Provide professional development and leadership needed to ensure our student-led support team is high-performing, cohesive, and ready to shine.
  • Identify ways to sharpen business processes and operations.
  • Manage recruitment budget with precision, ensuring every dollar is used effectively to maximize impact and reach.
