About The Position

Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital is seeking a Student Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures. Under the supervision of a registered radiographer, the technologist will perform routine diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures, portable x-rays, trauma, and surgery procedures. The role involves assuming responsibility for and maintaining the general care and safety of patients during imaging procedures, and ensuring equipment and supplies are present and accounted for.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 1 year of relevant experience
• must have completed the first year of an accredited imaging program

Nice To Haves

• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Under direct or indirect supervision of a registered radiographer, performs diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Assume responsibility and maintains the general care and safety of patients during imaging procedures.
• Assures equipment/supplies are present and accounted for at beginning and end of each imaging procedure.
• Under direct or indirect supervision of a registered radiographer, coordinates and performs routine diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures, portable x-rays, trauma and surgery procedures according to established standards and practices.
