About The Position

Corewell Health Wayne Hospital, established in 1957, is a full-service hospital serving western Wayne communities. It is the only hospital in its area verified as a Level III Trauma Center by the American College of Surgeons. Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 1 year of relevant experience
• must have completed the first year of an accredited imaging program

Nice To Haves

• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Under direct or indirect supervision of a registered radiographer, performs diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Assume responsibility and maintains the general care and safety of patients during imaging procedures.
• Assures equipment/supplies are present and accounted for at beginning and end of each imaging procedure.
• Under direct or indirect supervision of a registered radiographer, coordinates and performs routine diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures, portable x-rays, trauma and surgery procedures according to established standards and practices.
