About The Position
The Student Radiology Technologist assists radiology technologists with non-technical duties and serves as a first-line interface with customers, helping meet their imaging needs. The position participates in PI/QC activities and is responsible for processing and transmitting images to PACS. The student will not operate X-ray equipment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Currently attending an accredited health care educational program for radiologic technology.
- Completion of first-year curriculum requirements.
- Current BCLS (AHA) certification.
- At least one year of clinical experience in a radiology technologist program.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Will not operate X-ray equipment.
