Requirements

• High School Graduate General Studies, upon hire or
• High School GED General Studies, upon hire
• A minimum of twelve (12) months education in a JRCERT accredited School of Radiology, upon hire
• Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience, supporting diagnostic imaging to aid accurate patient diagnosis.
• Assist in performing various imaging examinations (X-rays, CT, MRI), learning patient positioning, and contributing to positive patient experiences under supervision.
• Demonstrate a strong eagerness to learn, attention to detail, excellent communication, and a foundational understanding of imaging principles, committed to mastering workflow and image quality.
• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
• Assist with procedures to ensure quality patient care in accordance with Radiologist’s expectations and protocols.
• Displays knowledge and complies with the National Patient Safety goals.
• Supports and reports any identified compliance matters.
• Participates in hospital and department quality assurance programs to ensure safety and satisfaction.
• Uses standard precautions, PPE, at all times.
