About The Position
This position will support faculty and their efforts in working closely with high school and college students who will be participating in a grantfunded workforce development program designed to assist students in their efforts to pursue a career in healthcare.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field and one year of professional related experience in coordinating or administering higher education programming or related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Ability to prioritize multiple ongoing responsibilities.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
Responsibilities
- Recruiting high school and college students for Workforce Development Program
- Assisting students as they transition in their education toward a career in healthcare.
- Work closely with Sr. Program Project Coordinator to design and execute cocurricular programming.
- Assist students with college application process.
- Facilitate social and mentoring support with participants monthly and throughout the year
