About The Position

The Student Program Assistant provides support to students in various subjects within the Faculty of ICT-SSN. This role involves assisting students one-on-one or in groups, conducting workshops to enhance learning, and supporting faculty in troubleshooting issues and applied learning. These positions are dedicated to the Algonquin College CyberCom training program and require on-site work at Algonquin College's Woodroffe (Ottawa) Campus.

Requirements

Minimum two (2) Year Diploma or equivalent in Computer Systems Technician, Computer Programming, or related IT field; Students in their final level of study may be considered.
Bilingualism – English and French (spoken and written) (level C) preferred.
Minimum two (2) years experience in various ICT fields.
Strong interpersonal skills
Collaborative
Demonstration of ability to support or impart knowledge of the material to support students.
