About The Position

This role requires a positive, professional approach, appearance, and attitude, along with dependability for all shifts. The primary focus is on providing outstanding and courteous customer service. Responsibilities include receiving, inspecting, and storing merchandise, as well as identifying and communicating issues with spoilage, damage, shrinkage, and inventory shortages to the Produce Manager. The role also involves preparing, assembling, and displaying all Produce Department inventories, adhering to overnight care and product handling procedures, and following association policies and procedures for maintenance, sanitation, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding courteous customer service.
• Receive, inspect, and store merchandise when assigned.
• Inspect all merchandise and communicate issues with spoilage, damage, shrinkage, and inventory shortages to the Produce Manager or designate.
• Prepare, assemble, and display all Produce Department related inventories.
• Ensure all specified overnight care and department product handling procedures are adhered to.
• Adhere to association policies and procedures relating to the maintenance, sanitation, and safety of all association assets.
• Be familiar with and adhere to Delta Co-op policies and procedures.
